Spreadsheets can be useful for teachers/students in classrooms for graphing assignments dealing with math formulas, standard deviation,percents, average, and organizing. It can be helpful to teachers sometimes for grading and finding class averages.



Word Processing

Word Processing has become very useful in classrooms today. it can be very beneficial to the teachers and the students. It reduces the heavy hassel of paperwork entirely. For younger students the spell checker that word processing has may be helpful to them in the cases of helping expand their vocabulary and spelling skills. For teachers it could give them a feeling of security about not losing assignments or important documents. It could be good for both students and teachers, for students with poor handwriting their work will be much easier for the teachers to read. Teachers can create electronic assignments, that are easy to make and easier to grade. Overall, the use of word processing in classrooms saves a tremendous amount of time and creates less problems for teachers and students.

iPads can be very useful in classrooms with the same and even better qualities as the original desktop computer. For younger children like elementary there are great apps for read alongs with a various amount of books. Practicing letter formation could be done when at the age of learning the alphabet. The iPad can also be useful to older students with things such as presentations and note-taking. iPads can be a wonderful asset to the classrooms of anykind. i have attached a video that shows proof of how teachers could address students with the iPad/iPods in the classroom.

Copyright is a form of time limited protection provided by the laws of the united states to the original authors of intellectual works, including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, and/or architectural.

 

I strongly feel that copyright is very necessary, I'm sure anyone who has ever created something would agree. Everyone should be able to get the credit which is due to them, whether small or big. It is important that everyone is aware of the guidelines and principles of copyright. Copyright can be very helpful to owners and also used to promote creativity and learning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Technology in Classrooms Across the World

 

  

Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes,(machinery and equipment). Technology can be used in a number of ways, especially in today's society from the first desktop computer to an iPad or from the old nokia mobile phone to the iPhone5. Technology has increased quite a bit over the years and it has become very important in the classrooms.

As we know technology in classrooms have been an assett in the schools of America. But recently they have also started to impact the schools in places like Asia, South Africa, and many more continents throughout the world. Computers would probably be the number one option of technology that is used in classroom; it can be so helpful to the teachers and students in ways such as online assignments, search engines on the internet, typing papers, online test, etc. With the things submitted on the computer i'm sure will be much easier for the teacher to grade and more entertaining for the students to complete, rather than the traditional pencil and paper.
