Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes,(machinery and equipment). Technology can be used in a number of ways, especially in today's society from the first desktop computer to an iPad or from the old nokia mobile phone to the iPhone5. Technology has increased quite a bit over the years and it has become very important in the classrooms.
As we know technology in classrooms have been an assett in the schools of America. But recently they have also started to impact the schools in places like Asia, South Africa, and many more continents throughout the world. Computers would probably be the number one option of technology that is used in classroom; it can be so helpful to the teachers and students in ways such as online assignments, search engines on the internet, typing papers, online test, etc. With the things submitted on the computer i'm sure will be much easier for the teacher to grade and more entertaining for the students to complete, rather than the traditional pencil and paper.

Your information given is very true. I agree that a computer engages and keeps the student's attention better than tradational learning. No i'm not saying that there is no longer a need for traditional ways of education, but mixing it with technology of the twenty-first century would create a higher success rate across the world. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI agree technology has become a huge part in today's society. This is why it is important for students to learn about technology and for teachers to implement technology inot the classrooms. Not only with computers becuase our students use more then that. Use ipads, ipods, phones etc what ever you can do to engage your students. GREAT JOB.
ReplyDeleteI agree technology is a world wide use and it is important for our students to adapt to the new learning strategies. Ipads, and Ipods, are commonly known and children have an instant way of learning and understading how to use the technology for educational purposes.
ReplyDeleteI agree with using technology all over the world. Many students in the clasasrooms today even get to talk to classes around the world by using technology. It helps students expand their horizon and see how classes around the world use technology to better their classrooms.
ReplyDeleteTechnology has evolved over time and looking and thinking back its looks a lot better. It is very effective to use with students to keep interest and a faster way to complete assignments. It gives broad and various ways to see things and different aspects rather than the ordinary. The new technology is just the same as its been but just more efficient and relevant.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is used world wide, I do agree, I also believe it is great for students. the information given from the different types of technologies is broad, detailed and there are plenty of websites to find the information.Technology today expands every chance it gets. There is always something new coming out.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is all over, some technology is unnecessary just because i feel it is making people, globally, lazy. Its okay to talk to each other on the phone to keep in contact with others but maybe video games or Siri in Iphones, it isn't all good.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is used in everything we do these days. It is highly necessary that we , especially as teachers, are aware of this and make sure to use it as much as we can in our classrooms.
